Regulation of Choosing Graduate Advisor for Master Student

  1. To achieve balanced development, proper planning for work force and equipment. Each professor shall admit one to four graduate students in the master's degree program per academic year. The number of students accepted by all professors should be limited to those stated in the information submitted in the year.
 
  1. Please refer to the department's website for the research field of each professor and the admitted number of students. After the result publication, freshmen can fully consider their personal aptitude and professor's expertise, and are encouraged to discuss with professors individually.
 
  1. New students of the master's program must select an advisor before the deadline of add and drop period in the first semester, otherwise they are not allowed to submit the oral test before the end of the fourth semester. Students who have not yet appointed an advisor are required to undergo guidance from the department.
